Celebrity Brittany Ishibashi Interview

Brittany's family and friends knew she had a special talent from her ability to create her own shows and performances at such a young age. Wanting to nourish her desire to be a performer her parents enrolled her in a performing arts conservatory where through high school she performed in numerous musicals and stage plays. Upon graduation she knew that the only professional direction for her to go was into show business...

It didn't take long for successful film and TV auditions to keep rolling in.  having notable roles on such shows as “Felicity”, “Angel”, “24” and “Grey's Anatomy”,  a recurring character on NBC's “E-Ring” and ABC’s “In Justice”, "Roommates", "Supernatural" and the hit movie "Eagle Eye" with Shia Lebouf.  Now that her star is starting to shine brighter than ever, you can see her in the upcoming  TV movie "Uncorked", also staring Elliot Gould, JoBeth Williams and Julie Benz ( Releasing on USA Network 12/31/09).

BRITTANY ISHIBASHI INTERVIEW

What is your biggest skin care challenge?
I have dry skin which causes flaking. I also have large pores  which can cause havoc with keeping my skin clean. It's especially hard with all of the make-up  that gets applied during filming/stage performances to maintain my complexion.

So do you have any beauty secrets that you've created yourself and take any extra steps to keep your skin looking as good as possible?
Nothing too innovative :).  I am a fan of anything that smells good though!  My good girlfriend introduced me to her "face diet" theory... 'If I can't eat it, I won't put it on my face'. I've always liked that.

I suppose that's a plus for BORBA, considering our nutraceuticals and topicals both use superfood formulations.
Indeed ;)

How long has having good looking skin been important to you and what got you to start caring?
It's been important to me since I was a little girl watching and appreciating the ritual of both my grandma and mom.

Do you think being beautiful affects how others see and treat you and do you take any steps too keep your skin looking as good as possible?
My dad always said "walk tall and think positive". If you radiate trust and love from yourself you will be seen as beautiful and people will respond in kind. In regards to taking extra steps, I am a bit of a product junkie. I love trying out  serums, creams and new methods like vitamins. I also drink a lot of water and try to protect myself from environmental elements, like the sun.

What do you think about the BORBA founder Scott-Vincent Borba and his knowledge of skin care and what he's trying to do?
Scott-Vincent's work, products, lifestyle and overall glowing being reaffirmed my belief that eating well and living with joy manifests itself on your outer being.   BORBA is really an AMAZING skin care linke. The purity of the product, the innovative techniques makes Scott-Vincent my new hero!  He's built this with love and the results are all a testament to the hard work, belief and spirit of this incredible man.  After using BORBA you won't believe your face - it will simply amaze you! :).
