Reaching Your Weight Loss Goal Beautifully

Homepage > Expert Skin Care Advice > Skin Care Articles

Even with bikini season behind us, it’s still important to stay focused on your weight loss goals. Maintaining a healthy weight is not only paramount to a long, happy life, it also affects how you feel and how your body functions. There are a few things that you can do to make yourself look great and feel great, regardless of how much work you're planning to get back into shape. The most important thing you should know about weight loss, is that there is only one true means of losing weight (without surgery). You must burn more calories than you consume each day. The trick is, you have to eat enough not to starve your body, as this will cause your body to store every available calorie you eat so when your routine lightens, the weight will flood back onto your frame. Who wants that? In addition to successfully keep the weight off and staying health, it's important to make sure what you eat contains the nutrients your body needs.

So why is a skin care guy telling you what you probably already know? But, I bet you didn’t realize that exercise can actually be harsh oh your skin. Just think about all that excess sweat and dirt you expose yourself to while your pores are opening to release the heat. So let's say you've lost those excess pounds. Guess what's shown up in its place? Sagging, dull, blemished and uneven toned skin. This can be true on your body, as well as on your face. Oh, and because you didn't get the nutrients you needed during this process, your skin looks even less healthy and radiant.

So what can you do to keep your skin looking gorgeous during your commitment to lose those pounds and keep them off when you've reached your goal?

Make a commitment to exercising - even a little bit every day even after you reach your goal. You've probably heard that doing cardio exercises are great for burning fat fast. When you reach your goal, DO MORE! Walking is one of the simplest, cheapest and most effective ways of doing this. Continue to do anything from 10 minutes or 30, you can go fast or slow, you can walk on the flat or on hills - it can be as easy or as hard as you want it to be. It can even be skipping the elevator and taking a flight of stairs as you come to work.

Now that you're working on the hard part, here's the easy part....

First, to keep your skin glowing and looking trim and toned, use an exfoliator at least once a week. I can't recommend enough my Firming Body Polish to slough off dull, dead skin. Many of my celebrity clients use it because of how well it works to make skin look flawless - something their livelihood depends on. It is made with just the right amount of antioxidants and other skin care goodies that will leave your skin soft, smooth and glowing.

Second, while you’re working hard and exercising, you can kill two birds with one stone by drinking my Firming or Replenishing Skin Balance Waters. You'll stay hydrated and boost your body's own ability to build a radiant glow when you're done. The best part is, not only are they calorie free, preservative free, sugar and sodium free, but these delicious beverages deliver high levels of the vitamins and antioxidants your body needs.

Finally, my
Slimming Chocolate Chews can be a huge help to someone who is trying to diet but loves sweets. One delicious chew has only 30 calories and helps keep you fuller, longer and reduces your cravings. Try them today! They are a few of my celebrity clients’ secret weapon!
